Oscar is Old Norse for "divine spear."

ALSO KNOWN AS:
Oscar-man,  Oscar-butt,  Oscar-bot,  Oscar-boscar, 
Oscar-doodle,  Oscar-tail,  Oscar-wiggles,  Oscar-widji-wiggy, 
Oxer,  Count Oscula,  Drama cat.

MY ANCESTORS WERE:
Norwegian Forest Cats

AMBITIONS:
Dramatic character role in a major motion picture which
utilizes my contortionist tendencies and mental talents.

TURN-ONS:
New people, being held upside-down, tummy rubs, dirty
clothes, cuddling in lap, performance art, cleaning myself,
hiding in grocery bags.

TURN-OFFS:
Not being taken seriously; Being ignored when I want
attention; Vacuum cleaners.
FAVORITE GAME:
"Flip & Run" and "Flip, Bury & Run"

FAVORITE SONG:
"When Doves Cry" by Prince.

I AM ALWAYS:
Cheerful, outgoing, hungry.

PEOPLE ARE GREAT BECAUSE:
They spoil me.

HOW TO GET MY ATTENTION:
Call my name or put away some groceries.

QUIRKS:
I have taught Todd that when I roll over
and play dead, it means I'm hungry and I'm
going to wither away and die if I don't get
some food soon. I also like to curl my body
up into funny shapes and lie there.
THE BEST CATS ARE:
Independent but social, because you need friends
but you also need to get away once in a while.

YOU CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH:
Fur.

I TOLERATE IT WHEN:
People move my arms and legs to music.

WHAT DRIVES ME WILD:
Catnip, airy blowing noises.

IN MY CRAZIEST MOMENTS:
I chase Carmen down the hallway at high speed and crash into the wall while turning the corner. I usually then pause, compose myself, and pretend I meant to do that.

STRANGE BUT TRUE:
I love to be held upside down on my back. I'll even let you hold me up to the ceiling like I'm walking upside down on it.

THREE RULES TO LIVE BY:
1. Ham it up for the camera whenever you can.
2. Know how to tell time so you know when dinner is late.
3. Any place is a sleeping place, any position a sleeping position.

FAVORITE FURNITURE:
Cat condo, family room floor,
leather chair, cardboard boxes.

I MAY LOOK INNOCENT, BUT:
I'll steal food from the table or kitchen counter when you're not watching.
